Man arrested after standoff with police - Mayfield West.

The Mayfield West siege has been resolved without incident.

A man, 41, walked out of the Burnett Street house and was arrested.

He will be interviewed by police over an alleged incident this morning with a neighbour.

Police were called to the Burnett Street address about 4.20am following reports of a dispute.
The man allegedly refused to leave the residence.

Negotiators and heavily armed police from the State Protection Support Unit assisted in the operation.
