Girl falls 6 metres onto rocks - Gordons Bay

The young girl who was celebrating Australia Day with friends at Gordon's Bay, south of Clovelly Beach, when she accidentally stumbled over the cliff about 6.15pm.

"She fell about six metres on to the rocks," an ambulance spokesman said.
"It could have been much, much worse but she thankfully suffered minor injuries."

Paramedics treated the woman on the rocks for spinal precautions and placed her on a special stretcher, before she was carried to a waiting ambulance.

She was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a stable condition.
She will undergo spinal tests and treatment for minor cuts and bruises.
