Police a searching for a driver of a car which was found severely smashed up near Newcastle today. Around 3pm services were called to Sandgate Road at Sandgate after reports a car was sitting in the middle of the road.
Crews arrived to find the car which had clearly being involved in an accident.
Police conducted a search but a driver was unable to be found.
